2009-Sep-30 - English - The Great White Shark

We're more afraid of the White Shark, than we have reason to. We're slowing losing our idea of the White Shark, as a mindless killing machine, because of new reasearch.

The White Sharks, are naturally curious, they are "sample biting", which means, that they take a bite of their new catch, if they dont like it, they'll release it again. This is not comforting, and it does hurt. you can lose a bodypart, get serouisly damaged or die of the Sharks "sample biting". But it does mean, that the White Shark doesnt eat human beings, just like that. They would have to be very hungry and very desperate for food. We are not their favourites, but it does happen that we get eaten.

Great whites are the largest predatory fish on Earth. They grow to a size of 4.6 meters in length, (max), though they have been seen 6 meters and weighing up to 2,268 kilograms.

We do not know how many White Sharks there is, but alot of them have been killed, by accidents, when fishing, so we're losing them.
